Join our growing team as a Security Operations Specialist and help Abacus reach new heights in security and compliance! In this role, you’ll work closely with the IT Operations team and report directly to the Head of IT Security & Compliance. You’ll collaborate with key stakeholders, including IT Support, to ensure seamless implementation and operation of security measures.

Your main responsibilities include

• Develop and manage the SOC, ensuring it operates efficiently and effectively.
• Implement and maintain security tools and technologies, including leading solutions for endpoint, cloud and identity protection.
• Monitor security alerts and incidents, and respond promptly to mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with the IT Operations team to ensure seamless integration of security measures.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
• Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation.
• Provide training and support to IT staff on security best practices and tools.
• Stay updated with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies.

Fuel for your success in the role, we imagine you have

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of proven experience in IT operations, particularly on the Microsoft platform, including Azure.
• Experience with security tools and technologies, preferably within the Microsoft Security application stack (Microsoft Sentinel and the Defender product line).
• Proficient in English and/or Danish, verbal and written.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to turn complex requirements and problems into actionable tasks and deliveries.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Structured and organized approach to work.
• High level of interest in operational IT security.
• Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with others, particularly IT Operations and IT Support.
