Student Programmer

Feature Development and Verification in the Signal Processing Department

Are you a student interested in programming and would enjoy working in a medical device company? Become part of our R&D team at WSAudiology! We are looking for a working student in the field of (audio) digital signal processing. Your primary goal includes development, verification, or refinement of signal processing feature for our future generations of advanced hearing aids.

Your tasks will be:

  • Development of new solutions under the supervision of experienced employees.
  • Support the team in literature studies and exploration on new ideas
  • Analysis and optimization of existing algorithms
  • Support the team in verification tasks including porting existing tests into a new framework.
  • Perform measurements and tests in real-time audio or listening tests

Requirements

  • Enrolled student in the fields of electrical engineering, communications engineering, information technology, audiology, medical technology, computer science, acoustics or similar, with at least 1 year left in your studies.
  • Basic knowledge of (audio) signal processing
  • Programming experience, especially with MATLAB
  • Experience with C/C++ is an additional plus
  • Self-directed approach to tasks, complemented by an interest in innovating and testing self-developed software and hardware solutions
  • Proficient in English (written and verbal)
  • Good communication skills

You can expect a workload of around 10-20 hours per week with flexibility around exams and vacations. The position is in Lynge, close to Farum and Allerød, and this will be your primary working location. However, we are also open for working from home when suitable for the tasks at hand.
