Application Specialist / Rheology

Fluidan is seeking a talented and ambitious production / chemical engineer, who can develop the application of the RheoStream® instrument and support implementation at customers.

As our Application Specialist, you will collaborate closely with our commercial and technical teams to ensure customers are fully supported in implementing RheoStream effectively. This role involves frequent interaction with customers, and you will build a deep understanding of our customer’s processes and challenges. Fluidan’s one-of-a-kind process rheometer, RheoStream, makes it possible to gain large optimization benefits, and you will adapt the application to meet diverse industry needs. You will travel, 20-40 days per year, to client sites to facilitate technology integration (mostly in trips of a few days each).

Responsibilities

You will

• Support and advise customers on the optimal implementation of RheoStream.
• Set up RheoStream to optimize customer specific measurements.
• Document technical procedures and implementation progress’.
• Conduct onsite demonstrations and support remote testing operations.
• Perform rheological measurements in Fluidan lab to understand the customers’ needs
• Engage in the ongoing development and enhancement of the RheoStream instrument and its applications, including planning and executing tests. 

Qualifications
You are probably a chemical/dairy/production engineer, chemist or pharmacist with some years of practical experience in rheology or process technology.

• Takes pride in high quality experimental work and thorough interpretation of data.
• Is proficient in MS Office and preferably has basic experience in MATLAB or Python.
• Can prepare and execute a plan in close communication with multiple stakeholders.
• Communicates fluently in English, preferably also in Danish. German is a plus.
• Always keeps customer needs as the guiding star.
