Then we have a unique opportunity for you at Oticon Audiology! We are situated in Smørum, next to both buses and S-train.

Auditory science and technical audiology

In your new department, our primary focus is auditory science and applied audiological research, technical and clinical testing of novel features in future hearing aids under development as well as market-released devices. Your primary job will be to support our ongoing research and testing activities.

Some of your general tasks could be to:

  • Verify product and feature performance via measurements and computer simulations

  • Write documentation reporting simulation and measurement results

  • Use tools and models to simulate the effects of hearing loss and hearing-aid signal processing

  • Provide technical and data analysis support for ongoing experimental work and internal clinical testing

  • Contribute to various support tasks within the team

We expect you to work corresponding to no less than 1½ days a week distributed to suit both your and our schedule. This may increase in busy periods; however, we also offer flexibility around exams and holidays. We are looking for a candidate who can start as soon as possible and who is in the final year of the Bachelor’s or the first year of the Master’s degree.

 

Structured engineering student with an eye for quality

In order for you to be able to handle your new student job, we expect you to be an engineering student who is proficient in Matlab, has experience with acoustic measurements, and has a solid understanding of human auditory processing and hearing loss.
As a person, you are detail-oriented, proactive and service-minded. You will work with members from the entire team as well as other divisions in Demant and therefore you should have an open and out-going nature. We expect you to be able to plan and organize your own tasks and ask for help if you need it.
