The Department of Electrical Engineering is the central department at DTU in electrical and biomedical engineering. It is our goal to ensure research and engineering training at the highest international level. The department is organized into 8 sections each covering important areas of electrical and biomedical engineering. Moreover, to ensure easier contact for stakeholders, activities within cross disciplinary areas cutting across more sections are in special cases organized into centers. Including PhD students we have a total of 260 staff members at the department.
