The position
As a UI/UX Student Assistant, you are responsible for driving user experience and design end-to-end, including discovery, ideation, conceptualizing, detailed design, prototypes, and validation by facilitating communication with key stakeholders to bridge the gap between visual design, functional development, and content. 
Your responsibilities are included, but not limited to:

  • Managing the design process from user research and mock-ups to prototyping and final design
  • Consulting with end users to understand their business needs and goals
  • Creating user stories, personas, storyboards, prototypes, and wireframes
  • Analysing user feedback and activity, and iterating to enhance the user experience
  • Challenging end users on their wishes and needs on a technical level and feasibility

With this role, you will be deeply immersed in understanding product specifications and user psychology. By that, you can conduct usability testing & drive design thinking workshops across the organization. Additionally, building bridges between user needs and technical solutions by collaborating closely with end users, developers, product owners, and scrum masters.

 

Qualifications
You are a student who is currently studying Bachelor’s or Master’s degree within Engineering, Design, Innovation, and similar fields,..
To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Experience in Figma and Adobe XD
  • Experience with UX and UI
  • Experience with digital product development
  • Some practical experience with Agile tools or techniques (e.g. shadowing another Scrum Master): e.g. Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, XP, and DevOps
  • Fluency in both spoken and written English & Danish 

As a person, you have empathy, good listening, and problem-solving skills. Your excellent communication skills represent within the presentation, strong relationship-building abilities and the ability to provide and constructively receive feedback. You have a structured mindset and focused approach to driving outcomes and adapt quickly to changes.
