We are looking for a self-driven student worker to support our Engineering Master Data team in Aalborg with a variety of tasks.

Being a Student Worker in Siemens Gamesa is an opportunity for you to develop your personal capabilities and build a professional and international network. You will get the chance to enhance your professional development and get relevant work experience in a global company.

Your responsibilities will consist of: 

  • Support with harmonization topics and lead a project of aligning way of working within integral and butterfly blade products.

  • Create impact analysis of current way of working and specifying engineering Masterdata and its impact down the rest of supply chain.

  • Gather the list of procedures, instructions, rules, and user cases for how materials Masterdata is made in both type of integral and butterfly products.

  • Identify quick wins and bottlenecks for engineering change management and material readiness process.

What you need to make a difference 

Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are looking for someone who is currently enrolled at the university doing a bachelor or master’s with at least 1.5 years left of their in education in supply chain management, engineering and manufacturing engineering (or similar). Please attach your transcript from your university as well as your CV.

To be successful in this role, you need/are: 

  • Advanced working knowledge using MS Office tools.

  • Open to explore IT landscape such as JIRA/power BIs tools and dashboards for an agile product tasks management purpose.

  • Ability to interact effectively with the plant stakeholders involved in the Change Management; Warehouse, Quality, local buyers, Process Engineers, Technology, technical project management (TPM) and project management (PMO), is a plus, but not a requirement.

  • Great English skills, both written & spoken.

  • Product lifecycle management process awareness.

  • Motivated and proactive.

  • Outgoing and not afraid to speak to strangers and reach out to different stakeholders.

Beware, we are looking for a student worker who is able to come into the office in Aalborg at least 3 times a week.

Most importantly, you challenge yourself and your colleagues to achieve the best results. You have a high professional competency, and you have a desire to develop your skills. You have good collaboration skills, and you can manage to act in different cultural contexts. To thrive in this position, you must have a strong result- and customer-oriented approach.
