Satlab A/S develops and manufactures advanced radio systems for highly embedded applications and space systems. We are looking to expand our team in Aalborg, Denmark with a mixed-signal hardware development engineer, starting as soon as possible.

Our main focus is on radios for data transfer and radios used for various mission specific communication or monitoring purposes. Characteristics for the solutions are that they are highly embedded, low mass, and low power consumption while at the same time being robust to the environment in which they operate. Our current products span in frequency from 100 MHz to 20 GHz and data interfaces from CAN/RS-422 through Ethernet to high-speed LVDS interfaces.

Your tasks will be:

  • Definition, design, test, and validation of hardware designs for new products.
  • Analysis of power and signal integrity.
  • Documentation for internal and customer use.
  • Participation in the development of automatic test procedures.

What we expect from you:

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Relevant work experience from similar function.
  • Familiarity with ECAD for schematics and PCB design, e.g. Altium Designer.
  • Experience with designing mixed digital and RF systems.
  • Experience with space systems is a plus.
  • Experience with product testing and qualification is a plus.
  • Openness to learn new technologies and ideas, and the ability to adapt to varying assignments in a small team.
  • English on a professional working proficiency level.
