Would you like to be part of an innovative high-tech company with an expanding portfolio for the defense and security industry?

We are looking for an Electronics Hardware Designer to join our R&D department in Hvidovre, Copenhagen, and help integrate and adapt our products to specific customer needs.

We offer you a challenging job in a highly enthusiastic and international atmosphere. In this job, you can influence your workday and general work procedures.

About the job
As an Electronics HW Designer, you will play a crucial role in our System Integration team, testing the real-life functionality of our products. This is a 'hands-on' job in every sense; you will build your prototypes, perform tests in bench setups, and, when possible, in real-life setups to ensure our products perform at their best.

Your primary focus will be on developing analog interfaces between various communication systems. You will be involved from the early task specification stage through to design and implementation in production. You will also be responsible for testing and verifying the performance of new products, whether they are your designs or those of others, and will work closely with the production team.

You will be working with a wide range of technologies and products, contacting customers and suppliers, and be responsible for completing the tasks with intelligent design, testing, and documentation. The projects vary in size and complexity, and you will always have several parallel functions in different completion stages. There are good possibilities to influence your daily work and take ownership and responsibility for your tasks.

About you
We hope to meet a positive and practical candidate who enjoys finding solutions and seeing results. You must be interested in working with all stages of product development and take a practical approach to your design, keeping the end user scenario in mind.

You must be able to manage several tasks simultaneously and enjoy the possibility of working on both short- and long-term projects. You are, furthermore, used to working in cross-functional teams.

Required skills:

  • You have a Bachelor/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or other technical relevant degree.
  • Good practical abilities to assemble prototypes and verify your design
  • Experience with test, measurement & documentation
  • Experience with low-power portable battery-operated products
  • Experience & interest regarding Radio, Communication & Audio systems
  • Experience in electronics hardware design, preferably related to Audio
  • Experience in EMC correct design or EMC testing

Personal skills:

  • Managing own tasks and planning
  • Have excellent skills in oral and written English
  • Can understand any Scandinavian languages
  • Can work and communicate with customers and suppliers

What we offer

  • A varied and challenging job in a global, innovative company.
  • A workplace where you can grow professionally and personally, with opportunities for future development to achieve your career goals.
  • A flexible work schedule, primarily from HQ in Copenhagen, with the ability to sometimes work from home.
  • A culture of high transparency, competency, teamwork, and passion, where everybody has a high degree of freedom.

The position is based in Hvidovre, Copenhagen, and you must be able to work onsite at the workplace. We do not offer relocation assistance.
