As our industry continues to grow, so do we! We are now looking for a Project Engineering Manager to coordinate a project engineering team to achieve the execution of new foundation construction project.

What will you do?
As our new Project Engineering Manager, you will lead and coordinate a project engineering team, ensuring the successful execution of offshore wind turbine foundation installations by managing technical issues, maintaining quality control, adhering to budgets and schedules, and representing the company in all project phases.

Your main tasks include:

  • Leading and structuring the project engineering team, including coordinating with the drawing office and document control
  • Establishing and overseeing the engineering management scope for windfarm foundation construction projects, coordinating with the engineering team, package managers, subcontractors, and clients on technical issues
  • Ensuring the engineering scope aligns with client requirements, company and industry standards, and legislation
  • Managing the project engineering budget and schedule to align with procurement, packaging, and fabrication activities
  • Overseeing quality control and assurance throughout the engineering process for project execution
  • Leading technical design reviews, HAZID/HAZOP, and lessons learned sessions.
  • Participating in offshore and onshore operations during fabrication, mobilization, and construction phases
  • Contributing to the development of internal processes, guidelines, and standards for offshore wind turbine foundation construction
  • Representing Cadeler to clients, subcontractors, and other organizations throughout all project phases, from sales to delivery

We are looking for a well-organized and strong communicator who can convey complex technical information to diverse stakeholders both on-site and in the office, has experience leading and motivating multidisciplinary teams, and demonstrates high accountability and a strong sense of ownership for assigned work.

We think you will be a good match if you have some of the following competencies:

  • 10 years of experience in offshore construction projects
  • Academic degree in mechanical, civil or marine engineering/naval architecture, or a related field
  • Proven experience managing and executing windfarm foundations projects in the offshore wind industry, during construction or design and procurement phases
  • Strong technical background in offshore construction engineering and offshore operations planning - such as heavy lifting, transport, jacking, and/or piling.
  • Project management skills, including planning, budgeting, documentation and scheduling
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements
