The VELUX group is looking for a Senior Manager for our technical values team that delivers a number of services within CE markings, product technical values and product specification as part of product development, which are business critical to the VELUX Group. 

The area is of great and increasing importance to the VELUX Group, and you will have the responsibility to take the team up to the next level.

Your challenges
Based at our headquarters, your primary responsibility will be driving results through a team of five competent specialists. The team is responsible for the CE marking and other certification schemes regarding VELUX products and for ensuring that the requirement specification process is managed optimally. Furthermore, they work with calculations of U-values and other building physics related values. 

You will be essential for ensuring that the product consequences of new and changed standards and regulations are understood and acted upon, thus guaranteeing that VELUX products live up to all documentation requirements in a correct and value-adding manner.

In addition, you will improve, develop and strengthen the collaboration with our internal stakeholders such as our sales companies, product management, quality, product development and test departments, in order to meet future challenges regarding the increased complexity in international and national technical demands and certification schemes.

Since you will be part of a global organisation, you must expect approx. 30 travelling days per year.

Your qualifications
We expect that you have a higher educational background such as Master of Science in Engineering or equivalent within building technology and energy. Furthermore, you have obtained solid experience from working with technical values within the building sector e.g. as a consulting engineer, at a producer of building materials, for a public building authority or at a test institute.

It is vital that you also have 5+ years of leadership experience demonstrating a proven track record of motivating employees and securing a high performance team.

As a person, you are highly motivated by leading others and obtaining results through your team by ensuring that they are motivated and engaged. You are structured, quality conscious, firm and proactive and you thrive in a service-oriented and consulting role.

It will be a plus if you have knowledge about the European Construction Products Regulation (CPR) and experience with contact to authorities.

As you will engage with different stakeholders - primarily in Europe – and have close contact to many nationalities across the VELUX Group, it is important that you truly like working and collaborating internationally.

Fluency in English both orally and in writing as well as good oral command of Danish is a prerequisite – other European languages especially German and/or French would be a strong asset.
